How to: Change the password when using a Novell NetWare network.
Solution:
Change to the drive mapped to the NetWare server in the DOS prompt. Locate and use the SETPASS command to enter a new password.
1) Right-click the 'Network Neighborhood' icon. (A pop-up menu appears.)
2) Select 'Map Network Drive...'. (The 'Map Network Drive' dialog box appears.)
NOTE: Note the drive letter; for example, H:
3) Type the path for the drive, and click 'OK'.
EXAMPLE: \\<servername>\SYS\PUBLIC
4) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
5) Select 'Programs' and select 'MS-DOS Prompt'.
6) Type the drive letter, followed by a colon (for example, H: ).
7) Type SETPASS and type the old and new passwords when prompted.
